General Information

What are your opening hours?

Store: Monday–Saturday: 9 AM–6 PM | Sunday: 9:30 AM–4 PM (Tills open at 10 AM due to Sunday trading laws).

Restaurant: Monday–Saturday: 9 AM–5 PM | Sunday: 9:30 AM–4 PM.

Breakfast: 9 AM–11:15 AM (Sundays: 9:30 AM–11:15 AM).

Hot meals: 12 PM–3:15 PM.

Where is Chessington Garden Centre located?

We are situated on the A243, approximately 2 miles from Junction 9 on the M25 or 2 miles from the Hook Junction on the A3.

Do you have parking facilities?

Yes, we have large car parks with designated disabled and family spaces adjacent to the main building.

Do you have wheelchairs available?

Yes, they are available at reception. Please ask at the Information Desk.

Are dogs allowed in-store?

Yes, well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome. However, dogs are not allowed in the Farm Shop or the indoor restaurant. Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere.

Do you sell or accept gift vouchers?

We accept National Garden Gift Vouchers (NGGV) but do not sell them.

We sell and accept Chessington Garden Centre Gift Cards.

Do you offer a garden design service?

No, we no longer offer a garden design service. If you are a previous customer with concerns, please contact us at info@chessingtongardencentre.co.uk.

Do you sell and service lawnmowers?

We sell lawnmowers but do not service them. However, F. Giles, based in our Bedding House, offers servicing. Contact them at 01372 720123 or fgilesmowers@gmail.com.

How do I join your Loyalty Club?

Sign up online via the Loyalty Club link on our homepage or at checkout in-store.

How can I apply for a job?

All vacancies are listed on our website careers page. Complete the application form and submit it online.

Bookable Events

How can I book an event?

Online only via our website. If you cannot access the internet, book at the Information Desk (not available via tills or phone).

Can I change or cancel my booking?

You can modify your booking via your Chessington Garden
Centre events account under ‘Order History.’

A £2.00 admin fee applies for any booking changes.

What time should I arrive for my event?

Circus & Grotto: Arrive 20–30 minutes early.

Other events: Arrive 10 minutes early.

You must show your ticket (printed or digital) at entry.

Is there wheelchair and pushchair access?

Yes, wheelchair access is available.

Pushchair storage is provided (left at owner's risk).

What happens if my event is cancelled?

If cancelled due to weather or external factors, you’ll be offered an alternative date or a refund (valid within 28 days).

You must contact us for refunds if your event is cancelled.

Can I make a group booking?

Yes! Book online. If bringing a group of 10+ children, try booking time slots close together.

Orders & Deliveries

What delivery options are available?

  • Local delivery (within our catchment area)
  • Courier services (small & large items)
  • Furniture & BBQs are delivered via Palletline(£25 fee) or our 2-man delivery team

How do I prepare for a delivery?

  • Ensure access through paths or gates is at least 80cm wide
  • Check if your home has doorways wider than 70cm
  • If using a driveway, ensure it has 8 feet of clearance

Can you assemble furniture?

Yes, we offer an assembly service. Ask our team for more details.

Can I cancel or reschedule a delivery?

Cancelling within 48 hours of your delivery date incurs a restocking fee.

Rescheduling within 48 hours incurs a new
delivery charge.

Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy?

You can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

The item must be in resalable condition, and you must provide proof of purchase.

Can I return an item bought online?

Yes! Online purchases can be returned by post or in-store.

You are responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases of damage or errors on our part.

What if my item is faulty or incorrect?

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 3 working days of receiving your order.

We will arrange a replacement or refund and provide further instructions.

Loyalty & Membership

How does the Chessington Garden Centre Loyalty Club work?

Our Loyalty Club offers exclusive member benefits, including special discounts and early access to promotions.

You can sign up online or in-store.

Do you still offer loyalty points?

As of January 1, 2022, we no longer offer points collection, but members still receive exclusive offers and events.

How can I update my membership details?

You can update your details by contacting
loyaltyclub@chessingtongardencentre.co.uk or visiting our Information Desk
in-store.

Plants & Gardening Advice

Do you offer a guarantee on plants?

Our hardy outdoor plants come with a one-year guarantee if properly cared for. Keep your receipt for replacements.

Bedding plants and houseplants are not covered under this guarantee.

Can I get gardening advice?

Yes! Our knowledgeable staff are happy to provide gardening advice in-store.

Pets & Aquatics

Do you sell live pets?

Yes

Can I bring my pet into the store?

Yes! Well-behaved pets on a lead are welcome in most areas.

Pets are not allowed in the Farm Shop or indoor restaurant.

In-Store Services

Do you have accessibility features in-store?

Yes! We provide wheelchair access throughout the centre and wheelchairs available at reception.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

No, we currently do not offer gift wrapping services.

Dog Policy

Where are dogs allowed?

Allowed: Main shop, outdoor plants, landscaping area,
Pet & Aquatic Centre.

Not Allowed: Farm Shop, indoor restaurant.

Dogs can sit with you on the outdoor restaurant terrace.

Do you provide dog clean-up facilities?

Yes, clean-up stations with fresh water and poop bags are available at:

  • Main entrance
  • Double doors to plant area
  • Outdoor Living showroom exit
  • Compost run gates
  • Outdoor Sedum Restaurant entrance
